The new journal is designed to bring advances in the subject into classrooms from kindergarten to graduate school...the journal's target audience encompasse(s) a variety of categories, including administrators, advanced undergraduates and graduate students, educated laypeople, museum curators, policy makers, researchers, and schoolteachers of all grades. Springer had planned to publish the first issue in January 2008. But when it announced the journal last month, potential contributors expressed so much interest that Springer decided to push the first issue up to September."
